Making a graphic expand within blocks  Bottom

    Hey all,

    I'm back with another question icon_lol I hae been working on some graphics to use with my theme for the left, right and center blocks.

    My problem is this. After i slice the graphics, i go into Dreamweaver so i can set the graphics in each part of the table to a background image. Within the table the top center bar and the bottom center bar of the graphics block will expand fro left to right with no problem.

    But the bars on the right and left of the block i can't get them to expand in high. What i do is set the image as a background keeping the width setting and deleting the hight setting but that doesn't seem to work.

    I remember seeing a tutorial here at one time about this but can't find it to save my life now.

    Can anyone give me pointer in the right direction or a solution to my problem?

    If so it would be greatly appreciated :D

    If I am understanding you right. You are having issues with the size of a block and the images you have.

    Here is what I did.

    If your graphic repeats itself Make a 1px image of it and set it as background. set it to 100% width :)

    Without seeing your page its hard to determan what your asking for. Or I don't have enough caffine in me. Probably the latter but Hope this helps.

    Theres a repeat attribute to the background style. It can repeat x or y. You want y for vertical.

    i.e.
    style="background: URL("image.png"); background-repeat: repeat-y;"

    Got it icon_lol Thank you very much Shawn, it is greatly appreciated. :D While i'm at it i got a question for you about AT .8.

    When i configure my theme and up load it to my site, it shows the left right and center blocks like it is suppose to but it will not show the main menu block icon_rolleyes

    Any idea's why? All the other AT themes i have work fine but mine just won't show the main menu block lol.

    You probably have a Custom Block setup for the main menu and either the template field is blank or it has a template assigned, but that template doesn't exist. That's just a guess.

    I checked out my config on the theme and everything seems to be in oorder. My block.html is set for use in the left and right block areas, center.html is set for center and theme.html as the main template.

    I thought it may be the way i used the tags because in the block.html i used the & tags together. so i took out the modules tag and still not getting the main menu block :? Guess i need to dig a little deeper lol. :P

    Sorry for the delay in response MMaynard :) I did take out the tage from the blocks and still having the same problem. But, that's okay. I decided to start from scratch with a different theme anyways lol.
