IANAL, ASAIK you're not required to display the PostNuke copyright on the page, but you must maintain the copyright and license info within the code.

You can remove the footer credits, is that's what you're asking, but you cannot remove the copyright from the source files. On the other hand, if you take out the footer credit, don't expect to get much help 'round these parts...

In my experience around here, the existence of the footer copyright information has no bearing on whether or not the user will get the support they requested.
