Okay, I'm using Downloads Plus (because of the ease of adding new files/directories... So Sue me :P ) anyway is there any way to add thumbnails to the downloads.
Yes, I know that there is UpDownloads that has this ability but I am worried that if I change that there will be no way to import my nearly 500 files from DownloadsPlus to UpDownloads.
So can anyone help me?
(yes I know it's a real long shot getting any help) :(

i just started playing with DownloadsPlus once i find out how there saving the data for the downloads as from what i can see they have both files and mysql i will add in a field that will allow u to enter a URL that will be used as the thumb nail ^_^ -

Hi
Sounds like I need to set up a CVS for DL+ so that we can co-ordinate the patches.
Adding a field to the DL+ database will involve a number of changes to the code across a number of files.
You will need to check all the SQL actions to ensure that the additional field will be recognised, and that any output to HTML is consistent.
If you do make any changes please let me know what version / archive you have adjusted so that I can try to include them in the next release.

it also makes its easyer for users to download a file by changeing the link from a title to a download button

I've got it installed, but for some strange reason I can only get the None.jpg image to show up.
And the Autothumb feature seems not to work at all
got a bunch oh 100x100 png files that are the same name as the files in the Images Directory. but no go -

I've got everything appears to be set right.
If I put the name of the image file. I get a broken image icon, yet when I click on it I get the image I wanted
the No Image.jpg shows up. nothing else -

the dead image thing is normaly when the user can not get to the image but the system can. -

ok I been to your site and checked it over it all seems to be ok, all you have to do is go over the downloads from the adminCP and set there previews leetship.png
can you tell me when you have changed one and the downloads name so i can check it ^_^
