I am trying to add a few blocks from my friends blogs but their feeds are only provided as Atom (instead of RSS 0.91 or RSS 2.0) so, when I add the block, it doesn't display any news for that sites. Some other friends have blogs that give the feeds in RSS 0.91/2.0 format and I don't have any problem displaying their headers.

Is there a way to add a block that displays Atom feeds? If it can't be done with the current Core/RSS Newsfeed block, is there another block that can accomplish this task?

    Thank you for your help!

There's RSSdisplay and MyHeadlines and a few other modules out there. Those two are quite common. I prefer the latter. It's at jmagar.com

And once .760 is released you'll have the rss module that ships with it. Like rssdisplay it uses magpie rss to read rss (most flavours) and atom feeds.

Thanks for your suggestions. Google doesn't display any result for "RSSdisplay"; do you, by any chance, have the URL for that project? On the other hand, I analyzed MyHeadlines and it is really an overkill for what I want to do (just add a block with an atom feed from some other site). I think I will keep looking, but I really appreciate your suggestions.

Well, I try to be. And I prefer email (to crsATmtradDOTcom) for support. Although I got backed up a little while ago and I'm still digging out...

You can download the RSSdisplay module from http://www.mtrad.com.

Note that a site redesign is underway but when the dust clears, there will be support forums for all of our modules, including RSSdisplay, RSSfeed, statistics and NukeOwl.
