I would like to request theme developers embrace this simple idea.
Along with or in the readme.txt file throw in a note that these(whatever) HTML attributes should be set at "allow" or "allow with parameters".
That would be cool,
thanks -

Um...whoops....wrong forum! Long story short...this isn't the case in AutoTheme.

lol...I doubt I'll ever have any inclination to work with XTE...AT is easier, gives the same end-result and has more support available...
Not to worry though, within a couple of years, XTE will have the same level of support available...the only unfortunate part is that you'll be all schooled up by then and providing the support yourself... ;)

I would have pegged you for someone who doesn't take the "easy" way out in pursuit of an advanced solution. :) it's fine for the novice and cross compatibility, but it just doesn't come near the power of xanthia.. no one who uses it doubts that statement..

Meh..
AT is more forgiving for one thing.
so are mothers
..I did my time in the sandbox too.. but the fact is, Xanthia is a far more powerful tool*.. hands down.
* for PostNuke.
-for cross-compatibility (ie: PostNuke->phpnuke) I recommend AutoTheme.

It WILL be for PostNuke.
It isn't there yet.
But these are opinions and you know what they say about those. ;)

@Bri - sorry... I didn't mean to hijack your thread.
@IR - You're right...I'm not one to take the easy way out in pursuit of an advanced solution. Provided that I see a need for that solution, of course. There's no need to learn to work on a Porshe when I own and am happy with a Camaro. ;) AT is perfectly fine for us pros...x-compatibility is key.
@Mars - ...and just what do they say about those...? j/k...
BTW...hey look...we're like a pack of NY'ers...

..without the knowledge and experience to make an accurate distinction, that should be considered an "opinion".
I don't mean knowledge as in "you're dumb" or experience as in "designing", I mean as in "familiarity with the internals of the applications" and "extensive use"..
use what best suits your needs.. bottom line.

Well perhaps a virtual meeting then... I'm waaaaay upstate in Clinton County.
BTW I saw your post on PortalThemes.com looking for CSS savvy designers; I care to discuss this further.

Come on over. :)
I'm not the closed door type, all I ask is a little split to help cover the cost of the server.
