    Hi,

I've installed PostNuke 0.750 gold. My web hosting account is on Apache, PHP 4.3.9.

I try to customize a theme, so I copied the whole pnDefault directory into a new theme called TestTheme. I've edited the themes\TestTheme\templates\master.htm, by deleting the references to a gif called "bar_back_horizon.gif". I then upload it via FTP, and then I list the templates, and click on "Reload Template" beside master.htm. When I click on the "EDIT" beside master.htm, I can see that my XHTML changes are there.

But when I view the template :
    http://www.kerrysvictory.com/index.php?theme=TestTheme

I still don't see the changes. I have checked "Check for Updated Version of Templates", and "Force Template Recompilation". Any pointers as to what I should try? Many many thanks.

AutoTheme ... I don't mean that to be sarcastic...it's just easier to use IMHO.

master.htm is for all the module sites, home.htm is the template for your homepage.

Thanks for your replies. Actually, I have found that I need to set that TestTheme as my default theme for the PostNuke site, in order to see the changes I made to master.htm. So, I still suspect that maybe there's some setup problems with my PostNuke, but for now I got around the problem.

    you're looking at the homepage.
go into admin then setting and make it so users can change the theme if they want. Change yours to testtheme. Prob solved.
