Making the News Module display random stories?

My homepage doesn't need to have stories in cronological order. Wondering if anyone has ever seen a hack for the main news module so that all stories are displayed randomly.
Looking at the code it doesn't seem like it would be extremely difficult to do but if somebody's done it before you could save me a lot of work.
