I've read a couple of posts detailing a problem with using Xanthia on the Sections module. Wonder if my problem is this, or if I've got a fixable problem ?

When looking at an article under the Sections module, our right handside blocks are displayed, but they are displayed *under* the article text. An example is at http://www.uk-bug.net/Sections-article9-p1.html ... keep scrolling down.

Is there something we can put in our HTML for the article itself ? I've tried use of tables, but this didnt resolve.

    Any hints and tips ?

..is that the only page this happens on? that is bizarre.. it's got to be a broken div or or someother random issue in the sections module. Also seems that's happening on all of your articles in the sections module.. try removing the images from an article and see if that has any effect.

No joy I'm afraid 'IR'. Take a look at http://www.uk-bug.net/Sections-article19-p1.html Its a simple plain text page. Yet the left hand block continues to show on the bottom.

I ran it through the validator and there's a few problems.. width is mispelled once and there's a broken div.. both could be potential problems, but the other 39 should be considered for repair as well..

If not a table, I would guess it's a div problem first. Like tables they are aligned.
The simplest way to manage something like this is to put borders on everything.
float, I believe, is just to align the contents of a div.
Another thing is that if you have coded a "hard" width like say 700. If your right column pushes you over that it will start on a new line.

Bingo ... it was some dodgy coding in the Sections/index.html with some iffy , & . Pretty sure this is not customised

    Code

    diff index.php index.bak
    265,267c265,267
    < #    echo "</td></tr>"
    < #        ."<tr><td align=\"center\">"
    <     echo "$previous_page &nbsp;&nbsp; $next_page<br /><br />"
    ---
    >     echo "</td></tr>"
    >         ."<tr><td align=\"center\">"
    >         ."$previous_page &nbsp;&nbsp; $next_page<br /><br />"

I have a simular problems, i can not get any blocks to show in the section module.

I have added all blocks to all modules, so i think the setting should be ok. The blocks shows when they are sat to "left" or "center", but they dont wanna show on the right side.

Is this because of an error in the modules/sections/index.php file? Or is it my settings that are wrong or anything else? Please help me.

I switched to PeterPanV2 theme that came along with the PostNuke release, and there the right blocks are showing correctly, even i have not configurated the block controll at all and the block controll is totally emty.

Is it my theme that is wrong or should i try to match the settings in the block controll as they are in PeterPanV2 theme?
