Unwanted Page Elements - how to remove?  Bottom

  • In working on my site, I have found 2 things that are being added and I cannot seem to get rid of them...

1.) At the bottom of my pages, there is a big white gap. This only appears if the contents of the page is shorter or the same height as the menus on the side. So, everything beneath that is solid white... what is adding this gap at the bottom of the pages? I've tried everything I can think of.

2.) On the Main Menu, there is a divider bar being added at the very bottom of it, and nothing I do gets rid of it... what is causing that?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can be off assistance!!

  • Post a URL.
  • My apologies, I didn't have a URL earlier as the site hadn't gone live until just this evening...

  • I see no white gaps at the bottom of any pages. (IE6) I am seeing a small white gap at the top where your framesets meet, however.

As for the bar under the Main Menu, you've got an
in there. Check your theme's template for it.
  • Doh, stupid
's sneaking into my code. =)

Well, that white bar I can't seem to get rid of... I've figured it out that it's a seperate in the DIV's and it's displaying the background... question is, WHICH background? I've pretty much made all the backgrounds for everything into that stained wood texture... so, I wonder what it could be showing? So, there's my next question: What is the very bottom level background? It can't be the tag in master.htm, so what else could it be?
  • Yes, that's the bottom level background.

Also, your frameset is not search friendly. Do a google on "search friendly frames" for tips...after all, you don't want your search results to pull up "...your browser does not support frames..."
