I few "I wants"  Bottom

  • Things I'd like to see:

    1. In the Weblinks module, Modify a Link asks you to enter a link number. I'd like an option to list all links with options to Delete or Modify them like we have in the Blocks module for instance.

    2. This may be kind of out there but I'd like to see a spell checker module be incorporated into Postnuke, Spell Cow perhaps. But then I'm kind of a spelling and grammar Nazi. :)

I can't think of anything else right now. I tried out several CMS portals (Etomite, Mambo, MyPHPNuke, PHPWebsite) but Postnuke .7.5.0 is the one I went with and will be sticking with.
  • There are other weblinks mods out there with more functionality than the standard one that comes with PostNuke, have a bit of search around.

Someone released a spell check mod on:
    http://www.maxdev.com/index.php
a week or to ago that is supposed to work with postnuke. Haven't tried it yet though.

if you browser the weblinks with admin-permission you'll notice a small icon in front of the description that is directly linked to the edit feature icon_wink

  • Ditto larsneo's solution. The best part about going that way is, if you have a lot of links, that you can use the search box to find the link you want to edit. I have nearly 3,000 links and it's the only way to go.

What weblinks does need is multilingual functionality. It should be like news where you select which language or all languages. Hmmm I wonder if it would be easier to transform the news module into a links module than add news-like capability to a links module?

I haven't been able to get full multilingual functionality out of Pagesetter.
