Can the PHPBB2.0x user databases and posts be transferred into PostNuke PHPBB at installation?

I want to completely overhaul my site and use a CMS to make life a lot easier for me, but i have 7000 users and many thousands more posts i would lose if i couldn't do this. Is it at all possible?

Sorry if this question is answered somewhere blindingly obvious and i've missed it. I couldnt find anything when searching the forum!

yes this is possible with PNphpBB2, and usually very easy. just do a search for PNphpBB2 (your looking for version 1.2g to go with PostNuke .750) and read the instillation docs in teh module. let me know if you have any problems

ok that sounds good. Will the database of the one go with the other though? i.e. will a user of my PHPbb board when transferred to PNphpBB become a member of PostNuke as well?
