  Hey i need a block where i can add a jave script code ind so i can put a banner on my site.

  You just go into Administration, Blocks, new block, from pull down menu select javascript or HTML(I forget), then paste the javascript code in.
  One issue you might have, under Administration, settings. There is a list of what HTML tags you allow at your site. IE font, br, img etc. Any tag in your script has gotta be approved there. BTW This is in place for security reasons, not to give you extra work.
  Above assumes you meant button not banner. A banner won't fit in a block.
  If it really is a banner, click on administration and then banners. Chances are the banner setup already does what your javascript does.
