Is there a way to stop people from posting direct download links to areas on my site? I don't mind people downloading but I'd rather they do it from the site and not from a link someplace else.
Another question along the same lines. I've looked all over the site admin section and cannot find anyplace where you would set it up that only registered users can download files. How can I set it up that only registered users can download?

Well, I think both can be done using permissions. Read about permissions in the docs area here and check the permissions area of the forum. -

Permissions would do the download, but I don't think it would stop links.
