Hi there:
I've installed RSSdisplay v6 on a postnuke .750 gold installation. I followed the installation notes carefully but when i go to RSS Display Module (User Page) i get this message:
The Magpie backend didn't like that feed! It said:
MagpieRSS: Failed to parse RSS file. (junk after document element at line 2, column 0)
When i take a test (http://www.mysite.com/module/rssdisplay/test.html) i get a 404 error message under the server side news heading.
Johan

I haven't used RSS display but each of the other RSS ones. I prefer MyHeadlines....to each his own I guess.
The feeds are quirky.
Some end in .xml some in .rss and some even just make it the default page in a directory like somesite.com/News/Rss
Some might not work. Magpie's awesome but not perfect -

RSSdisplay is not all related to the core RSS blocks. As bri says, Magpie has to deal with a world of feeds, many of which are defective in one way or the other.
Can you tell me what is the URL for the feed that you're having trouble with? I'll look into why it doesn't work for you. -

I was able to import the feed into my article but the error in 'RSS Display Module (User Page)' remains. Is it a prblm?
Sorry, but I'm just catching up on a huge backlog in my email....
I don't get any error with the feed mentioned. Are you still getting errors?
