I'm looking for a script (preferrable PN but I can deal with out it), that would allow a user of the site to setup a mini shop to sell merchandise. I would be running the site, and a representative of a band or record label could sign up and I guess have the option to be a regular user or a seller. Sort of like CafePress I would think. Ideally I wouldn't have to handle anything, that each user would handle shipping, and any payment options that I offered.
Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

If the sites only purpose is to sell items, and provide little content...
I would remend moving away from postNuke.
OScommerce is easy to use, has great payment/shipping options, and is dedicated for this task. I am sure other Commerce sites are around, and would check out Freshmeat.net as a good place to search through freely traded open source scripts.
Try the Pastguy link bellow for a example of a basic setup of OSCommerce. -
