Hi,
Is it legal to make use of Postnuke for a commercial purpose? Can I use it as website for my firm?

Yes, in fact it is encouraged. Many of the postnuke developers (of which I am not one) work very hard. You can always drop them a little donation if you feel a need to express your gratitude. -

Yes...do use PostNuke for a commercial site.
Because I know you want to do the right thing, you should know about the tradition that owners of all commecial sites using PostNuke send all members of the dev team (and me, of course, since I thought this up) a very expensive gift.
Seriously, good luck with your site and keep us informed as it progresses.

Feel free to contact my company bellow for consulting or ask questions in the forums (here or there) as to how we (postNuke or Crayhill) may help you make money and/or solve your business issues with your site. -

You cant remove the copyrights in the code. But you do not have to have any type of visual copyright in your theme for any core PN modules or blocks. Removing them from third party modules or blocks that require external copyright notices is not allowed. I use PN for many of my clients and unless they look at the source, they will have no idea that its PN.
