  i searched shorturls but the results returned only applied to xanthia and AutoTheme. to my knowledge, imagic2 is not either and so my question is, how can i implement short urls with this theme or do i have to somehow convert it to xanthia, and how the hell do i do that. thanks

  You don't need a theme system to use short URLs. You simply need to change the rewrite settings on your server. While the AutoTheme module will do this for you, you can also do it yourself. Search the forums for a Short URL download package. I haven't used it in so long that I don't know where to get it. It must be around something though.

  ColdRolledSteel has a ShortURL implementation, and I made one based on it, and I'm sure others too. PN 0.75 uses the same type of implementatin, only the details of the URLs may vary, or how the rules are written.

  There are numerous posts in this forums on the subject. I wrote a post once on how to convert a theme to support them. Requires some onderstanding of HTML and some PHP.
