PNTresmailer and PNphpBB error!  Bottom

  • After searching several forums I haven't found this problem anywhere.
    This error only appears on the forum pagesa and seems to be caused by the newsletter subscription block.
    I am using PN gold 750 and Pntresmailer version 6.03

    Here is the error I get:
    Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/ffa/public_html/modules/pnTresMailer/pnblocks/pnTresMailer.php on line 79

    Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/ffa/public_html/modules/pnTresMailer/pnblocks/pnTresMailer.php on line 82

    Here are those lines of code:
    function pntresmailer_display($blockinfo) {
    global $prefix;

    if (!pnSecAuthAction(0,
    'pnTresMailer::',
    "$blockinfo[title]::",
    ACCESS_READ)) {
    return;
    }

    list($dbconn) = pnDBGetConn();

    $pnuid = pnUserGetVar('uid');
    $pnuname = pnUserGetVar('uname');
    $pnemail = pnUserGetVar('email');

    $SQL = mysql_query("SELECT sub_reg_id FROM $prefix"._nl_subscriber." WHERE sub_uid = '$pnuid'");
    $check = mysql_num_rows($SQL);

    $SQL = mysql_query("SELECT nl_unreg, nl_popup, nl_popup_days FROM $prefix"._nl_var."");
    list($nl_unreg, $nl_popup, $nl_popup_days) = mysql_fetch_row($SQL);

    $output = "";

    $lang = pnSessionGetVar('lang');

    I have been fighting this for 2 weeks, please help.
  • change:
    global $prefix;

    to:
    $prefix = pnConfigGetVar('prefix');

    ..i'm really surprised that module is working with .750 or has someone removed the majority of global vars?
  • Hi IR
    pnTresMailer works good in 750 and even seems to be a version re-written especially for 750. Is available here
    http://www.ev-jugend.de/juleica/modules.php?op=modload& name=UpDownload&file=index&req=viewdownload&cid=11

    change:
    global $prefix;

    to:
    $prefix = pnConfigGetVar('prefix');
