  hi guys
  i appreciate your work very much on PN! keep on the good work!
  documentation/forum is great. i get help all the time including answers for really silly-newbie Qs..... :D
  
  there are some things that i would like to see in PN .8 though
  here are my suggestions:
  1. enable flexible editing of fields in user profile (i.e fields can be individually added with drop down lists, radio, checkbox options)
  2. themes- different colours available for a single theme (i.e the images' colours can be changed with a graphic program like photoshop)->is it feasible?
  3.multiple DB support (read in a reply to a thread i post...it will be integrated into .8)

  1. What do you mean exactly?
  2. Making Xanthia able to adjust the color of the images is theoretically possible, but it would be heavily dependant upon the platform the system is running on having the nessesary tools, it would also require the theme developers to want to bother with that.
  3. You mean allow you to use more than just MySQL?
  
  Motion-Ex, use Pagesetter, it's more flexible than News can ever be, with out News becoming Pagesetter, you can make it include whatever your little heart desires.

  Seriously, i have been thinking about that pageseter stuff, i just am a little concerned of what that might implies: i use AutoTheme with short urls etc....i heard Pagesetter have issues with that...I'll give it a try very soon...

  2. that's not THAT important i guess. when i posted this msg, i was rather new and didn't look at themes from AutoThemes etc...
  3.yes, more than just MySQL..since the developers are already using AdoDB layer, i read somewhere that with AdoDB, multiple dbs can be supported
