    Hello,

I have modified the theme.php and written a new menu for my theme by using simple HTML links.

I want to allow hiding and showing of some menu elements like "Be a member" or "My Account" depending on if a user is logged in or not.

I guess I need to use some PN functions to show/hide these links. But what are those ?

    Thanks in advance,

If you using an HTML block, this wont be possible. If your using the generic menu (main menu), than just search the forums as their are plenty of examples on how to do it.

I am not using an HTML block, instead I have written this HTML links in my theme.php .

I assume I could use some PostNuke functions to determine if a "My Account" link shall be visible.

But which PostNuke function allows me to check if a user is logged in or not ?

The function is somewhere in one of the old themes. Extralite might even have it. I highly highly dont recommend making your themes that way. Use Xanthia. The way your doing it is the way it was done about 3 years ago. I havent made one that way since 2001 I think.
