Hey all,
At my last job I installed what I believe was called Webchat on a PN site, and it worked very well. Not a whole lot in the way of bells and whistles, but very functional and stable.
I'd like to find it again to install on a site at my new gig here, but can't find it anywhere.
I also checked out the demo for 123chat, but it didn't work well at for me. I could not see the text I was typing, the buttons had no descriptions showing; looked slick, but too many non-functional elements.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Just installed it. Nice and easy like a regular PN module. Looks and works pretty good, but it would be nice if hitting the browser's stop button didn't kill your sends. Anyway to prevent this? I wonder if the code that opens the window could be modified to open a browser without the stuff up top to do that? -

I used to use webchat but with 750 i have switched to Flashchat. Best 5$ i ever spent and i set it up in 10 minutes flat. It has a postnuke guide and updates are free,.... http://www.tufat.com/script2.htm
You can also test it on my gaming website at http://www.attackforcez.com -

yeah :) ..good stuff.. definitly.. mac hates java, and flash loves everone. this one's got my vote.. it's so much better, it's hard to laugh without feeling sorry for java apps. IRC!, IRC! no, no.. buck it and go your own way. -

hey but, this flash chat have been ported to postnuke, though
to be honest i really like it too but if i could find NS-webchat it would be great too!
EDIT:
i im sure i saw one postnuke site on this site weblinks who actually uses NS-webchat but i can't find it. :S
2nd EDIT:
I found it! this is the site http://www.infonuke.com/
http://www.infonuke.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=NS-webchat&file=index
Look at the simplicity of the NS-webchat module, the only thing could give problem is the installation but i'm just wanting to get the module to test it in pn.75 al least! -
