Listing the articles of a Topic

When I click on a topic from a list of topics, it lists the articles in the descending orders, that is 290, 289, 287 to 3,2,1.
Is there a way to display the newest articles on the front page, and display the OLDEST articles of a topic when one clicks on the topic, that is to list article 1, then 2, ect....
