I recently started a game fan site based on postnuke where visitors can download items/hacks to enhance the game. I desperately need thumbnail images next to my download links. I've seen it done but I am utterly clueless. I would be willing to pay for the time spent in writing the script. What's the going rate now? 35-40 dollars an hour? Doesn't matter. I need this feature and I can't do it myself so I must find someone who can. Any ideas? -

Hi there,
There is already a module upgrade available for that. Just head to : http://www.portalzine.de and create yourself an account there. And then download this module: http://www.portalzine.de/Downloads-get_downloads-lid-297.html
Hope that helps... -

I upgraded my old downloads with this one through the module admin and I clicked on upgrade. I do all the settings in the download admin and when I add a download I dont see an area where I can add a screen shot. It still looks like the old download setup. If I go into my download section it says screen shot unavaiable yet I cant add it in the download area whan adding a download? -

Well after 1+ hours of frustration the "pnSoftmore" figured it out. You need to put the image into the ww.yoursite.com/modules/downloads/shots/thumbs directory and name the image file the same name as the download number. If it is download number 3 in the downloads section you need to rename the image 3.gif for instance. -

I have a question.
I noticed that there is a feature to upload the image file while uploading the main file, but this is not implimented.
How would a person go about making this feature useful?
Also it says on that site that there is no more developement or support for the PN modules. Do you think anyone else may pick it up? I really think it has potential but I'm afraid my own PHP knowledge is limited. -

I just noticed that the latest version is at 2.1
I'm not really in a postition to pay someone so I guess I will wait and see what happens with it. I would play around with it myself only my PHP knowledge is very limited, and I have already had a look at the code from the module at portalzine and didn't really understand much.
Thanks anyway ^_^
