I couldn't find a better place to post this - hope this is a good place.
Okay, first off - I run a crypto puzzle page.
Each page has a new puzzle, but the only way to get to the next puzzle is to defeat the first one.
Right now I am using .htaccess and have a puzzle in a different folder across my site so that I can lock each page so that they have to log into the next puzzle.
I have used postnuke in the past and have been very happy with it. So I was wondering if someone could help me implement a new tool that many other people might be able to use.
I want it so someone, lets say "Bob", can log into his acct on my phpnuke. Bob can then begin to crack the first puzzle. At the bottom of the page of the puzzle is a login box. After he cracks the puzzle he will then receive a page saying congrats and in the left hand menu Puzzle2 will become a active link or it will appear or something.
That way whenever bob logs out he wont have to remember the password to code 1 just so he can get back to code 2. phpNuke will remember exactly where Bob was when he logged out and it will allow him to jump right back in where he left off.
It will also allow me to see which accts have gotten however far.
If this is already possible or if someone could help me code it I would be very much appreciative. I have a semi-knowledge in PHP so I am not completly useless. I also have a friend who is knowledgeable in PHP but is clueless about postnuke.
So if anyone would be willing to help I would VERY VERY much appreciate it. Please reply back to this post or shoot me an email to el(dot)deuce(at)gmail(dot)com Thanks again and Thanks ahead of time to anyone who can possibly help.
