I can't find a section on this forum dedicated to "work for hire", so I'm posting it here - hope that's allright.
I'm the creater and caretaker for www.globalcomicjam.com - a community for comicartists online. The site has been running for just over a year now, and I feel it's time to evolve the site. As it is now I personally update the site everytime I get a comicpage from one of the artists - that has meant 330 updates so far! -I wan't the site to pretty much take care of it self ...
I have written a somewhat detailed description of what I want:
http://www.globalcomicjam.com/GCJAUTO/project.html
-I'm looking for a programmer who can do this. It's a paid job, yes, but the site is only a hobby of mine, and I'm not really rich, you see. But give me an offer, and we'll talk.
Get back to me - tell me how long it will take, and how much you want for it.
Write to me at: master [at] globalcomicjam.com

We have just recently opened PostnukePro at http://www.postnukepro.com/. It is a site devoted to exactly your needs.
There is a link ot it in the left hand menu, but I suppose it might be a good idea to actually explain to folks what that link is, or they'll likely skip by it like you did. -

I know the site isn't 100% complete, but I haven't directly involved in that project so I don't know the up-to-date status. It may be that someone is working on it currently. You may want to check with MHalbrook as he's running that show.
