Hello!
I've done a search, but many responses are old and I wanted to know if anyone is uing any modules with the current release of PN for the following:
1. Project Progress - I have the mod to do the one login for phpCollab, so something to tie to that would be great. If nothing out there, any coder wanna give me a bid on getting it done? Just a bar graph on project completion % of 100.
2. e-Card module. Ability to have image and Flash e-cards.
3. Mailing List module - for folks that are site members and not. Opt-in, etc. Sends HTML and plain text emails based on user choice.
Thanks

I am using PN Tresmailer on a few sites for opt in/opt out email announcements. It pulls info from postcalendar and/or from the PN stories core module. You can then edit the HTML and/or plain text versions before sending. I am happy with it.
You can check it out (installed and running) at my site: http://splanky.com
Click the subscribe button on the right side and then click preview in the subsequent window to see a past HTML newsletter.

For the project mannager you might like to use Chuck Steel's task_manager. No graph but it does have a % complete box, notes and the ability to assing tasks (projects) to users and groups... I like it it's integrated into PN and less bulky tan some of the larger project managers like mantis... I've heard good things about pnTaskMan but cannot find it...

For eCards you might want to give this module a try http://keopsonline.c…me=cards&file=index
As far as project management goes, well it all depends on what you are looking for in terms of abilities. The module mentioned in a previous post, the Chuck Steel module, will serves as a basic project management tracker for you to set projects up and then input a percentage complete on as you work on it.
If you are looking for something with more features, then you might want to look at phprojekt which is a stand alone project management system but a PostNuke module developer has written a tie in that allows the membership of a PostNuke site to also be used with phprojekt. Search the modules area and you should turn up where to locate information about the tie in to PostNuke.
I have used both the above modules and each has their strong points and are very good systems for the intended purposes that they were designed for.
I have switched though to something a bit more expansive than either of the above mentioned modules. I am presently working with eGroupWare, do a search on SourceForge.net for it. This system is a full blown project management system and groupware system combined. It is not a module of PostNuke and no tie in between the PostNuke membership database and it exists that I am aware of. For my purposes this isn't a problem as I am the only one needing to use project management/groupware and I don't plan to have it as part of my site that is available to the public.
Hope this helps. -

Check over at Mirage Lab for a simpler project manager than phprojekt. http://www.miragelab…lay-panelid-1.phtml
By the way, Cas Nuy has written an integration script for phprojekt to postnuke. Check him out at http://www.nuy.info/726/. phProjekt is at http://www.phprojekt.com/
I believe (no experience) that the Coppermine photo gallery, also intergrated by Cas Nuy, above, has e-card capability also. -

Ok I found my problem which was due to the Legacy support being switched off during our upgrade.
However I do have one question when generating the news letter many of the links refer to mysite.com for the life of me I cannot see where this is modified, does anyone have suggestions?
Thanks

I couldn't get ecards to work with the newest release and there isn't a fix at the ecards website for it. The one they give didn't work for my website. I love this mod, hate to see it not working. It's not pulling the information out of the database correctly. I get an error saying there is not such and such table, when in fact the table is there.
I haven't been in the community for a couple of years, seems like a lot of developers have left. There used to be a lot of people working on mods :( I love PN. Hope it's not dieing out.
