    As title suggets...

I'm using a windows server: smtp doesn't exist, but it does in pnMailer
how to get lostpasword to work with my smtp server? Now users can't ask their lost pasword.

Maybe an idea for your next release
    Now using PN 7.50Gold

    Thx,
    -Igor

pnMailer exists to use SMTP in these types of situation. You don't have an outside e-mail server you connect to?

icon_redface Now I see I didn't write my question right.

In pnMailer I configured a smtp server, which I have. I've tested it, writing an e-mail to myself, which is done in my Admin console. It worked just fine.

Then I tested the lost password, but that didn't work. I looked in the code of lostpassword, and I don't know if it uses pnMailer or not, if it doesn't, then I have a problem. Since I'm not a programmer and I don/t want to screw up, what can I do then?

It is indeed a ISII server, and I do have a smtp server, which is configured good.

    Thx again,
    -Igor

    icon_redface my mistake

in initial setup there's an email adress: nono@none.com

off course you have to change that to the email adress you're using with your smtp server, I was under the impression it used the administrator's E-mail.

Maybe usefull for someone who oversees things such as I do ;)
