You can configure Xanthia to "force recompile of templates".

Yes and yes. During development its essential to turn this feature on, once the site is up and running, you can switch it off.

How do I turn on the Force templates recompilation? I know there's a check box under the "Configure Xanthia" link, but I have it checked already, but I still have to 'reload' my template files everytime I do a new upload. -

There is also a setting in pnRender to force template compilation.

For a development system also turn off 'store templates in database' under the xanthia configuration. This combined with the 'check for updated templates' option will give you a setup that recompiles the templates when you make a change in the file system.
Personally I don't bother with the storing of templates in the database especially since I don't ever use the online editing facilities.

Just installed the clean .76 RC3 download. Xanthia theme editing seems to be failing.
I get this when submitting an edit
"Function doModTemplate in module Xanthia returned."
I get this when reloading a template.
"Function reloadTemplate in module Xanthia returned."
From the thread above, I turned off the "Store in database" and I've set the recomplile auto in Xanthis and in PNrender. I've had this problem in .75 as well.
Also running PHP 4.3 and MySQL 4.0.23.
