  • any more?
  • Well, this one's rather tough to answer and there are other threads on the same topic.

    For example, there's a thread over in the area on educational uses of PostNuke. Which points up another problem; namely that the modules used are based on the functionality desired. If I have an educational site up (which I do) it will have different modules than a gaming site (which I don't have) or a club site (which I do have) and so forth.

    So you'll notice that wtaylor above has four different forum modules listed. I daresay he doesn't use them all on the same site. Which one he uses on which site depends on the features and functionality of the individual module versus the requirements of the people who use that particular site.

    So I use Bloodhound on my club site, but not on the educational site because that function is already included with the educational module I use. But I'd bet no gamer is going to use pnATutor on their site, either.

    I guess it's sorta like asking which is your favorite car. . . . .
  • I've started a collection of the PostNuke Blocks, Modules and accessory stuff that I've found particularly helpful, on my messing-around-on site (registration disabled), at:

    http://www.hofrath.net

    In the Downloads section, stuff that is orphaned, and stuff that I really particularly like that is not likely to be updated in the very near future;

    In the WebLinks section, stuff that is under active development such that a link makes more sense; and a few things that are not open source that are useful enough that I'm willing to forgive them for that.

    Recalling how much chasing around it took me to find this stuff to begin with.

    I'll get better annotations on these as time goes along.
