I submitted a module to PostNukePro.com several days ago and was wondering if anyone knows if this site is still in the works. There's a bit of content so far, but overall it seems dead there. Is it actually in production yet?
I attempted to contact, but the contact link is dead. (I saw a discussion list that talked about trying my AlarContact module for the site...but I guess it didn't make the cut, being non-pnAPI...)
Anyway, I'm just wondering if the site is for real...or if it's just a pet project that'll be worked on in spare time...

Thanks for the heads up Frank. I'm very interested in the site. At this point, the "'ol lady" will absolutely kill me if I start another "free" project...so the "idea" of a few bucks (even if they never show) will help to keep her at ease. I spend a good deal of time providing support at a number of sites...most recently the PN site...and though I wouldn't characterize myself as "whipped" ;) I know all to well that she can make my life a living hell if the mood so captures her. Hence my latest module, AlarDonate... ;) -

I'm not particularly involved in this project but it should be announced fairly soon. We held up the announcement to avoid annoucing it on the back of the security compromise of our downloads.

That's too bad, Mark...in my opinion, you're one of the most helpful members of the team. Not to take away from anyone else, though. There are many members here who've helped me to grow from a bumbling newbie to an (arguably) up-and-coming developer, and I appreciate all of them. Thanks for the 411... -

Not really bad... just a personal decision. It's not that i've not been included (I certainly didn't mean that....) but that i've enough on my plate and don't really have the time or inclination to involve myself in the commercial side of PN although I fully support efforts for PN becoming more acceptable to commercial organisations via services like postnukepro.com
My involvement in postnuke is purely hobbyist - I spend the time I do purely because I enjoy doing so. It allows me to keep a skill alive that otherwise would go to waste.

I've got a few tweeks to a few of the things on there that need to be done, but I haven't had a chance to get around to yet. I need to customize the input forms for the data, and I'm still waiting for feedback from the others working on it for my job posting system I put in there.

FYI, I've set up the workflows to notify me when new content is submitted, so this shouldn't be a problem in the future :) We'll have more people added to the list eventually. I still need to do some work on customizing the input forms.

Good call. Not to worry...I understand it takes time to get things just right. I'll be posting my ...ahem... resume ... tonight or tomorrow... thanks for all the info and assists.
