    Hello,
I have been looking for a standalone pnrender package for 0.723 Phoenix version. I am not able to upgrade my version of PostNuke due to the fact that I would like to wait till all the modules get shifted to current and upcoming core.
I have been to pncommerce.com , their download link for pnrender standalone package is not working.
Would really appreciate if someone in our PN community including developers and end users email me pnrender and xanthia standalone packages for 0.723 phoenix, I promise I will maintain a download section for these for others to have too.

It's been a real problem since main PN site cleaned lot of old modules from download section :(

pnRender requires changes to the API which means you'd be better to upgrade to 750 and see whta does and doesn't work for you.

Mhalbrook, I tried a lot to upgrade to 750 but could not as the site uses many modules which are specifically done for 750, I will upgrade slowly as it is a production site I am more cautious working on it.
As a work around I appreciate you and everyone who will mail me a copy of pnrender and xanthia modules standalone ones for .723.
    my email is urscoolguy @ yahoo.com .

Heh :) we can very well use pnrender and xanthia on 723 phoenix. They are now integrated into core, before they were 2 seperate modules. I am around since their birth :P

I appreciate if you mail them to me incase you have them, thanks.

What modules are you using that prevents you from upgrading to 750? XTE makes changes to the API, that means you may as well upgrade to 750.

mhalbrook may I ask you why is that you are telling again and again to upgrade upgrade.
I am well aware that life would be easier if I upgrade, but my life may become terrible if I upgrade.
I have my own reasons for not to upgrade like, I edited many core files to suit my needs, my PostNuke installation has become non standard, I cannot do all those edits if I upgrade to .750 , It is lot of work. I prefer to upgrade only when 0.800 comes out and that is it.
    This is my personal preference.
That is why I requested the old standalone modules. Anyways if you are not interested or you don't have those please let others to help me and donot ask why and what.
    I aprreciate it.

Again, as of RC1 of XTE, pnRender/Xanthia make changes to the pnAPI.. Period. There is no stand alone verison.

:) I am upgrading no matter what now, following you. Let it take 2 days nevermind. Yes pnRender/Xanthia does make changes to the pnAPI , but still there are standalone packages which change the API, there is module overlap, say like pncUserhack changes some of the files which pnRender/Xanthia changes , I have to sit and do visual comparision and edit the files. I don't want to do that. I am your way UPGRADE UPGRADE.

I am bit stressed with the workload so I tried to get those old ones, nevermind problem solved (UPGRADE) .

    Thanks mhalbrook.

Michael and I are usually are fiercest opponents when anything is in doubt... and we are both saying the same thing... so I would take it as a sign from above, and figure out that their is no way to do what you want to do... Upgrade, upgrade, upgrade... or dont use pnRender/Xanthia...

Sorry that it isnt different icon_frown
