Making a story stay at the top

I'd like a particular story to stay at the top of the page, which is simply a news page for a particular category... what's the best way to do this? Manually change the date of the story to be in the future? But that wouldn't work great because the date for the story is shown on the detail page.

Perhaps make a centered HTML block that shows at the top of the category page? If I wanted to do this, how would I make the block show up on this page only?

Use the admin message module.

It wil stay on the top all the time.
