pnFlashGames is giving me a heart attack!!!!!!  Bottom

  • I know this should not be that hard.........but............. it says "failed to load module"

I DID have a PN site up and running on a Windows / Sambar box. I moved it to a Linux / Red Hat box and now it's broke.

I brought the DB over from the other site by import / export with my SQL administrator, so that should be OK

I got the latest release of pnFlashGames and tried loading that, still got the error.

Checked the link from my main menu block, that is OK, but I still deleted, re created it.

Removed the module all together from the module list, and re put it back in there, still no dice.

The only thing that changed since I moved it to the new box was I changed the password for MySQL Server.

Does anyone have any clue as to why this may be happening? I have even tried chmod 777 all files in the pnFlashGames directory and below.

    site is here:

If anyone could even point me in the general direction of how a module even works, that may help too. I don't know much of how the moduels work, but I do have a decent understanding of PHP and can look for problems in the scripts if I know which ones it's even looking at.

If you want, you can email me here:

    Thanks!!!!!!
  • I replied to this at pnFlashGames.com yesterday but I'll do it here as well. The problem is not with pnFlashGames at all but with the way you specify the link in your menu block. You put [pnFlashGames] and it needs to be {pnFlashGames}. Change that and it will work fine. As proof, this is the link that the correct syntax will generate (and it works fine): http://www.nazarah.m…module=pnFlashGames
