i'm trying to make my own small little module. are there any guides i can read to show me the way? or if any1 here has the time this is what i'm trying to make

i'll have a link in a block taking it to a page, lets say specs for a motherboard. and in that page, in the center block, i'll list a few mobos, and when some1 clicks on 1, it will load the specs for the mobo, like name/brand/slots etc.

i could do this with the blank.php page, but thats seems like i'm just filling it in with plain old HTML

That guide is a bit out dated at this point, unless it's been updated for pnRender's inclusion. You'll also want to download the Example module from the http://downloads.postnuke.com area to base your work off of.

There is a new MDG in CVS which works on building a module from the ground up. It is not complete yet, but will provide a more 'tutorial' like approach to building a module
