I have just installed v4bJournal v98-Beta4 and I can't seem to figure out where and how to customize the permissions such that Anonymous users cannot view the Journals but Registered Users can.
I have re-read the Install doc and it refers to some "granular permissions" but for the life of me I can't find where to activate those granular permission or even if that is the solution.
I looked over on the vb4Journal site and don't see the answer there either and have searched the posts on this forum too.
Can anyone help?
TIA, Randy

OK,
the granular permissions thing refers to the following:
In the PN Admin section, go to the admin pages for v4bJournal. Then choose the menu link "Configuration".
There's an option with the following text:
Quote
User requires ADD-Rights to create Journal entries.
If not, user requires COMMENT-Rights):
The default is that any user with the COMMENT rights can read journals and post comments. However, if you wish to specify (and adhere to) more specific permission levels, check this option and you will switch to the 'granular permissions' mode where each operation is associated with an appropriate permissons level (ie: DELETE to delete, etc.). See the install.txt file for a more detailed explanation of this.
No matter what you do though, you'll have to use the PN permission system to grant/deny access to user/groups.
Greetings
