My weblinks seems to have suddenly (over the last 3 weeks) stopped working. I am using PostNuke-0.726-3 and the links were working just fine after I upgraded. What I get when I go into weblinks is the message
"No web link categories available - web links disabled" but I've checked all of the settings and configurations and they look fine. My other sites which have the same version of PostNuke (updated from the same file) are all okay. I've tried re-installing the Web_Links module and it didn't make a difference. Can anyone help?
Thanks very much for your help. Maggie

It sounds like you don't actually have any links or categories established. That's the message that gets returned when the links and categories tables are both empty. If you had a whole lot of links, that's bad news. But, if it's not a huge hassle, all you should have to do is just go into the admin area, create your categories, and add your links back.
If you did have a whole lot of links that somehow got lost, go into your SQL dump that you created before you upgraded (you did back everything up, right?) and you should be able to grab the portions of the dump that relate to the Web_Links tables. You can copy those portions of the SQL dump into a new text file and use that to restore your links.
Best of luck,

Odd... When I click on Popular, it shows one link. The Random link button sends me to that one site, over and over. Other links tell me that there's no links.
You may want to glance in your database at the nuke_links_links table and see if there's any data in there besides that one page. It may help to see what's in there.

What has obviously happened is that the links data have somehow disappeared (database is empty). I tried creating a few new ones and that worked (don't know why I didn't think of trying that). I have the old ones backed up but will probably have to manually recreate. Maybe a good opportunity for a cull. Thanks so much for your help. Maggie

maggieball, if you have a backup of your database, you don't need to manually add them back... you can recover just the database tables you want, in this case the links related tables. No need for copy and paste.
