How to add thumbnail - download module

Hi,
I have not yet figured out how to add thumbnail into the download module.
Currently only has a file name - which means nothign to ppl (Whats an A53 ? ;) an aeroplane.. I know that - but no one else will.. :)
I tried HTML code <imc src=" into the description field but it was type such as.
Please help."></imc>
