Have just finshed upgrading http://www.eatanews.org to pn750. Smoothish but it has taken me a few weeks to do in total as there was also an AutoTheme upgrade.
I have pnRender cache turned on and AutoTheme caching too. I was hoping it would improve the performance so any 56kers out there please let me know.
STyle sheets issues in Firefox means smaller text but i was trying to preserve browser text enlargement - though i think i will eventually add accessibility block.
Did i also say it is for technically illiterate users?...
cheers nukers

Very nice slipsy! Loads quickly for me but I'm on a DSL connection.
It's also good to get your feedback about the upgrade process. I know upgrading is always a hassle but I know it has been worth it for me to upgrade to .75 and my experience with Distance-Educator.com (here's the URL http://www.distance-educator.com if you want to take a look :)) has also gone smoothly too.
I like your google translation pull-down. Is that hard-coded into your site? Also, do you have any idea of how good the translations are?

Hi Vanessa,
Thanks for the feedback.
Translation is nicked from googles translation service and is hardcoded ito the home page template. If used all over it reloads multiple frames which looks silly. I just grabbed the source code from the google form and changed the URL filed to a hidden type for this domain.
As for accuracy i have no idea as I only speak english and bloke. (Bloke is an englishe expression for geezer.....come to think of it geezer is an english expression for ....etc)
I am awaiting feedback from the multilingual members to find out.

I made it of course! The only way!
The man is Eric Berne, father of Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy.
I try not to do typical postnuke but three columns is pretty typical.

There's a few things that i'd tidy up if I where you... Check the validation of your site and correct these issues.
The two most common errors here are the lack of quoted attributes e.g. value=en|es should be value="en|es" and the non-uniqueness of id's in CSS. In CSS an id must be unique across the entire page and thus cannot be re-used. If you need to re-use the style make it a class instead.

re:sharing
Uh-huh. Sorry that would defeat the object as it is designed specifically for the organisation and takes longer than instlaling/customising/configuring postnuke!
However there is a rusty old site of mine http://postnuke.alansparkes.net which has some themes available...
MARK!
Thanks for the CSS tips- it got a bit out of hand. Thanks for the tips.
