I have an account on my school's webserver, and I am trying to install any version of PostNuke. I know there are "special things" about my school's server, like having the shebang at the top of every PHP page, and having to do all MySQL administration by command line...
I have currently installed 0.750, and am experiencing the same problem that I had with 0.723 (which consequently made me install a crappy YaWPS installation in the meantime)
Everything works... as far as I can tell, except the login directs me to user.php, and never actually logs me in.
Why would that be?? Any ideas??

same here - maybe something with the language.
Like here in my case I try to use finnish language and
had to comment out a lot of line in language\fin\global.php
that I could get my first page to see
I still can not login. -

I just was showing someone my site on their computer, and explaining how it did not work, when it did (on their computer) exactly what it would not do on mine. The login worked perfectly, and I was even able to change some settings in the admin (a little glitchy, but still functional). When I got back to my computer, I directly tried again, and no success. I removed all cookies, and still no success.
At least this is something for me to start the debugging process with.
When I say glitchy, I mean in particular that there are shebangs that are visible. Now I am no expert on the area of the shebang, but is it possible that the visible shebangs could be causing the problem (or rather, whatever is causing them could be the problem???)
