I attempted install of pn7.50. I think it would have gone smoothly if I didn't botch the install by screwing up...
I clicked "start" at the DB summary screen (60% installed) without the "create the DataBase" radio button selected.
The next screen was a long list of tables that were created, but at the top of that long list were the words:
"Database not created"
So, I assumed I had done something wrong, and used the "back" button on the browser to backtrack. Now, after having read the forums for a bit, I see that I was doing fine. That the DB was not "created" because it already existed on the server (had been created previously)
So now I try to click through the installation process *again* and I get the following error message:
No database made.Unable to make nuke_autolinks
So, I thought maybe the install was complete, but when I point to /admin.php, I get this message:
Although this site is running the PostNuke software
it has no other connection to the PostNuke Developers.
Please refrain from sending messages about this site or its content
to the PostNuke team, the end will result in an ignored e-mail.
Clearly I should have just continued when I saw the list of tables that were created.
Now I would just like to get back to that point. Is there a way to "reset" the database so I can go through the install process again, this time accepting the screen I skipped last time?
Please advise. I appreciate your help.

You need to empty the database of all tables. Because you didnt complete the installer, an Admin username anmd password was not set, and the config file not modified, so you saw the error message.
Empty the database, then re-run the installer and all will be fine.

Is there a simple way to empty the database? Or do I have to have my web hosting service do that?
Thanks again...

If you have phpMyAdmin, you can use that (use the drop table command).
