I finally had to ask because it has been bothering me since this site's new design.
Why the short timeout period for staying logged into the site. I really hate having to log in if I don't check the site for a few days? And even worse is the fact that I have to log into each subsite. If I check for the site to remember me, I expect that it remember me.

I'm pretty sure its being worked on, not 100% if its been nailed or not though. The devel site doesn't do it as much so maybe the devs are onto a fix.
