Should pnNews have Submission Guidelines?  Bottom

  • Hi All,

BTW The Site Looks Great, and Some cool new possabilities with that...

It brings me to the question about Submission Guidelines. Has there ever been any? This site has grown so much, that I would wonder if it could not benefit from some form of editorial guidelines posted at submission forms or in a section. I don't know what the guidelines would contain in detail I suppose it would depend on the editorial policy. Seeing that the backend.php picks up and distributes, lets say, uncooked pizzas, as well as half eaten plates of food, in addition to the meal that was ordered, so to speak, would a little frosting on the news front be any less distracting?

It doesn't have to be professional, to be informative. It is not meant as a means of introducing censorship it is just that guidelines help keep a sense of focus.

Tell me what you think, and sound off in the poll as well...

  • yep, I agree with you, but couldn't decide on which one to pick on your vote, so I'm abstaining. ;)
  • Infopro,

...and my wife says ,"Abtainence makes the heart grow fonder."
to which I usually reply, "yea, and you'll get your comeuppance in the end."
