Visual Mode is great for a lot of things, but for my contact mod, it's unnecessary. Can I somehow disallow it from working with the mod by coding in a "fix" or would I be stuck using a strip_tags?
The thing is, I think it would be rude to strip out the tags on someone after they'd taken the time to format the message, so I'd prefer to remove the option in the first place.
...but then again, I don't want the people who like WYSIWYG editors on their site to be left out either...
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
John
PS. Please don't suggest creating multi-part messages...I'm not savvy enough for that quite yet... ;)

if using typetool (additional module for .72x, part of .75x) you can use the permission system to restrict the WYSIWG editor from certain modules.

The new WYSIWYG module can be disabled on a module by module basis by the Admin.

[Edit: Found my answer. Didn't realize the Permissions post was the preferred way to control typetool. I thought they were referring to a work around and there was some other administration option to select modules to enable/disable.]
