We've been making a very large effort to answer as many questions as we can. Between answering questions and trying to enhance the current documentation, it's a large job.
Much of which could be averted by people searching the forums for their own answers. We have plenty of need on PnCorps for additional people if you feel that you could contribute.

Hi Paris,
Paris
Speaking freely........just curious why questions hardly get answered. What is the purpose of a forum?
First and foremost, I want to make it clear that I am just a PN User like you are, although I "may" have been at it a little longer than you - I am not a part of the PN development staff nor pnCorps. Also, please bear with me on this - I am not trying to "FLAME" you - just to anser your question as fairly and fully as I can.
For a while now, I have been trying to read everything "new" posted in pnForums as much as possible. Personally, I don't attempt to answer many of them - to begin with I do not have the expertise to answer about 90% of them that are *REALLY* "new" questions. As a user, like yourself, I simply skim over those posts that I've seen 5 or 10 times before. (There are many, many of them). Yet, from what I have observed, the PostNuke forums have always been a very responsive section to get answers to problems. There have been thousands of them... This is obviously contrary to your own observations...
Over this past month or so, I have come to admire the work of the relatively new "pnCorps" who really do seem make a sincere effort to answer *REAL* questions - those that haven't been asked more than a dozen times and then re-posted by someone who doesn't want to take time to use the search button for the forums to see if his/her problem has already been resolved. Then there is the "other" search block up in the headder of each page that searches the overall site to see of your entry exists in the sites news articles and so forth.
A surprising number of folks don't use those capabilities... And seemingly don't bother to read what's already in the Forums.
Given all that - I think your question would have been better if you had taken ownership by saying "why am *I* not geting answered right away?"
If I might suggest it, take a look at http://forums.postnu…search_author=Paris for a list of what you have posted thus far and ask yourself if you could have either researched your question a bit more before asking it, or possibly phrased it in such a way that what you were looking for was a bit clearer to the reader/potential answerer.... One thing you HAVE got going is that you've always been pretty darn polite on the forums and that is something a lot of US could learn from YOU. :D
My final suggestions would be to suggest that you try to come up with a descriptive "Subject" line, ("How do I...." and "Just Curious..." is not descriptive), a lot of the busy folks will simply not click on subject lines that don't give a clue as to what the message is about.
I guess the bottom line is that if we want to get good answers in a timely manner, we need to learn how to ask better questions.
Warm Regards,
