I got hold of a new theme and I redesigned it to fit my needs. The problem is and was even before i redesigned it was that when i use the bold tags when posting reviews or news or anything they dont bold. The bold tags dont show up in the text, the text just stays the same like the bold tags are not there but they are. The old skin everything is bolded nicely.
My question is what do I have to do so the skin will see the bold tags and bold the text?

I can think of a few things off the top of my head. First, the actual bold settings will be a B or STRONG HTML tag, or it could be done in CSS. I have noticed some oddities with themes that are half HTML/half CSS -- trying to turn on bold in such themes sometimes didn't work. I've stared at the code seeing the B tag, but for some reason CSS was preventing it (or overriding it, actually) from working.
Also, I had an older copy of Mozilla where I would turn on bold and Mozilla would not show it; this was due to the odd font I was using which didn't have a bold version.
Either of those would cause the problem, but I see the former semi-frequently.
