  • I have been hoping for a reply to this post for some time, does anyone have a experience of cubecart or can someone suggest an alternative store front package that works with post nuke now.

I am currently using ECBuilder externally to my site.

    Thanks

  • Head on over to www.nuy.info. They have a module that will integrate CubeCart into PostNuke.

  • Haven't used either. Been waiting for the osCommerce integration that people keep promising is coming.

  • I am in the early stages of using pnCommerce, and so far I think it will meet my needs and then some. From what I can tell at this point, it covers all the bases one might need in a professional ecommerce solution.
  • Hi Wendell
Missed your post before, how are you getting on with pncommerce?

  • I've got CubeCart running in PostNuke on my site now. I used the hack listed above as well as another small mod that I purchased to allow login using their email address. now, when my users go to the store, their account info is recognized via their email or username from the site. Maintained the single point login I was pushing for with pnPHPbb and PN.

CubeCart so far has been pretty easy to work with.

I need to figure out a way to steal the *featured product* block in cubecart and add it to the main page of the site, similar to paypalcart.

  • What is the name of the module/hack that integrates user database with CubeCart and PostNuke? I went to nuy.info but I can't find it there. Anyone know where I can find it and if it still works with PN 760?

  • I looked around and it was apparently called pnCubeCart but it's no longer there at nuy.info and I can't find it anywhere else... And it was probably for PN 726...

Any ideas for integration solutions for CubeCart and PostNuke 760?

  • I learned the hard way the CubeCart shows you a Registration/login page whenever someone wants to check out and that there's no way to bypass that so that customers can just pay for an item without having to register/login. And there's no plan for CubeCart to support that feature and I was met with hostility in their forum for just even bringing up that idea. So it's a no go for me, which is too bad because it really is a nice piece of code otherwise. And really elegant Smarty templating system much like Xanthia... oh well.

  • The pncubecart module passes the PN User details to CC after this the can order and checkout without a further login.

The user may need to complete their address details but that is all.
