Well I rounded up my problems where I am looking for solution where either to find modules fitting my ideas or how to create things... Okay here we go:
1. Review Module for different things
I got GameReview up and running and it's pretty neat but it is limited to games but I also need to right reviews about Movies, Websites, Books and Audio CD's. Are there any good modules that can be used for that as the GameReview mdoules would need to be totally rewritten to use different tables.
2. User Search
I inclueded a couple of Dynamic User Fields but now I am stuck as my registered User want to search for other users by data included in those field for example hobbies. Is there any module or solution available to search user by their input they made in those fields?
3. Bookmarking pages
On the right top of the portalzine website http://www.portalzine.de (it seems to be inclueded within the header I guess) there is a cool booking. How is it done? Is there any public code or help available to included something like that within a postnuke portal as on portalzine there is no text or clue how it work or how it can be reproduced.
4. Past news access
Also on portalzine you can access the last 20 pages of the past news. I know that Alex from portalzine has hardcoded it still the question for me is how to embed something like that in my own site.
5. Open profiles in a popup
Since I was a supporter of portalzine I was lucky to get a grip on the ProfilesPlus module. I got it up and running. I love it very much as it is quite flexible and looks great but my Users don't want profiles to open within the Postnuke structure but as popup's wihtout header, footer, left & right blocks so they can have a look at different profile at the same time. Profiles on my site are opened either through the Memberlist or through the sideblock MembersOnline. Does anyone have a clue on how to do that ... on how to open those profiles in popups without anything elese like header, etc.?
6. Online Messenger / Instant Messenger
At the time I left portalzine as a support Alex had released the frist or second alpha of the portalzine messenger. It looked promising as it enabled users to change their state to Away, Busy etc. so others were able to see if others where available. Also user could change their state to invisble being logged in without others seeing them and also neat was that one could see who had an opened messenger and who did not. The alpha versions however did not really work but now it seems like all problems had been solved by Alex (just test drive it on portalzine) but now he has left postnuke thus this very cool module is not available anymore. Does anyone know if someelse is doing something simular or does anyone have permission to continue this great piece of work or does anyone know how to start working on something alike?
7. Bigh Brother function
A few months ago I came across an website which had a kind of big brother function included. Through this you could see who opened your profile and at what time. Is there anything like this available for postnuke and / or how can it be done?
Well I hope there are some people out there that can help me with these questions or at least some of these questions.
Mike
