Public address book module  Bottom

  • Good Morning PN family,

I recently took a look at the available PN modules, checked google for my specific needs and also searched the forums, but just couldn't find what I need for a customer's PN installation. Before starting to develop/modify an existing module, I would like to ask for your advice:

has anyone developed a public address book module? I tried the pnAddressbook but that one only offers private addresses (or am I wrong here?)...
The module should support searching and display overview and detailed information.

It would be great if you could share your experiences!

    Thank you!

    Sascha
  • Check again, Sasha; pnAddressBook allows public access. You can set the individual records to private only should you or the person desire. You can also control access with permissions should you desire. But it definitely allows public access.

  • Hi Cliff,

thank you for your reply - I just did a quick check on pnAddressbook but somehow overlooked these features.
    I'll give it a try!

    Thanks again!

    Sascha

  • No problem Sasha. I probably should have said I have no connection to pnAddressBook other than as a satisfied user. Well, I would be happier if my members would update their own information therein!
  • Good Morning Cliff!

I gave pnAddressbook a try and it is exactly what I was looking for - thank you!

  • Good! I'm glad to hear ti works well for you, too!
