Ok, I am trying to create a theme for my postnuke site. Really, I just want to edit the colors of one of the postnuke themes as I am completely happy with those, as long as I can get the colors I want. The problem I am having is that I look at the theme files and I can't figure out what all of the colors are for. There is like 4 Background colors. WTF? What are all of these for? So I just put all of them to black and then I start moving around the site and it seems like there is extra stuff that I am not seeing because on 1 page the text will be the yellow I put for text color, but on the next page they will still be black which doesn't show up well against a black background.
Is there a tool I can use to change all of this stuff? If not, is there a guide that explains how to change all of the colors?

Check out AutoTheme and there is a manual and three tutorials. If you want to do it in PHP, the nate has some good threads here and there is a tutorial around somewhere.
