Help!! Changed my theme, now all I get is an Error!  Bottom

  • Hi there,

    I'm very new to postnuke. I've been playing around with it to get it how I like it. I finally got everything how I wanted it, then I went to change my theme just to see if it would look better than my current one, and now when I try to access my site all I get is this: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: public_message() in /usr/local/4admin/apache/vhosts/rutherfordcorner.com/httpdocs/nuke/html/themes/Elektro/theme.php on line 141

    When I opened theme.php line 141 just says: $public_msg = public_message();

    I don't know what the heck I'm supposed to do now! I was using the helius theme from nukmods with no problems, then I downloaded the Elektro and tried to change to it and that's when I got the above error.

    My postnuke site is http://www.rutherfordcorner.com/nuke/html/index.php It's hosted through webmasters.com and I've been using MS Frontpage for editing it. Basically because my website up until now has been just HTML, which I'm pretty good at, but this PHP stuff is new to me! I just installed Dreamweaver, which I'm told is better for editing PHP stuff.

    Anyway, sorry if I've given you way to much info. I'd really appreciate any help I can get. I'm hoping I don't have to uninstall/reinstall to fix this!

    Thanks so much for reading this! I also posted this at the nukmods forums. So hopefully somebody can help me.

    Thanks again!
    Heather
